Ascent Hiking Series
This summer, we are hosting a handful of guided hikes to complement our Eyes Up sermon series—an opportunity to connect with others on the trail. Watch here for the full schedule of upcoming hikes and details.
Upper Big Bluestem, Mesa and Towhee Trail Loop
- Date & Time: Mon, June 16 at 8am (approximately 2 hours and 15 minutes)
- Host: Meridi Williams
- Difficulty: Moderate hike with about 850 ft. of elevation gain
- Meeting Place: South Mesa Trailhead (there is free parking for Boulder county residents)
- What to Bring: Water and possibly a snack
Chautauqua Trails
- Date & Time: Wed, June 25 at 5pm
- Host: Eric James and Children & Family Ministry
- Note: There will also be an opportunity for families with young children to gather and play at the playground if they prefer not to hike.
About our summer sermon series...
The Songs of Ascent are a collection of 15 Psalms once sung by Hebrew pilgrims as they journeyed up to Jerusalem for the annual festivals at the Temple. Each week in worship we will explore how these ancient songs still offer us refuge, encouragement and hope for our journey ahead.
