Serving the poor and creation care are ways we demonstrate the good news, part of an undivided witness flowing out of discipleship and pointing people toward our loving Father. On Feb 8, Dr. David and Vreni Greenlee, serving with Operation Mobilization* and Grace Commons supported missions partners since 1981, will explore these themes.
Their daughter, Dr. Bekka Greenlee, will speak about her recently completed doctoral dissertation on flourishing among leaders of mission teams and why she became a third generation missionary, serving for 10 years in Southeast Asia. Please join us for these important updates from a family the church has supported for decades.
*Made up of some 5,000 workers from nearly 150 countries serving in over 130 countries and on two ocean-going ships, the Logos Hope and Doulos Hope, in Operation Mobilization we strive to see the fullness of God's Kingdom revealed where he is not yet known.

From the Old Testament to the words of Jesus and Paul, we are told to love the foreigner, the stranger, and the non-native among us. On the second Sunday during Common Ground Missions, we'll hear from Toni Erickson & Becky Gallotte to highlight two such missions in Boulder County: Doorways and International Students, Incorporated (ISI).
Doorways helps women from many countries to learn and practice English and to adapt to life in the United States. ISI ministers to international CU students with food, friendship, adventure, crisis assistance, prayer and Bible study. Each supports a flourishing community where people of all backgrounds develop cross-cultural friendships rooted in the love of Christ. Hear how God is moving in Boulder County to draw the world to himself, and to learn how you can get involved in his mission!
About Becky Gallotte
Becky lives in Boulder and serves the world's nations attending CU Boulder. She has been serving with International Students, Inc. since 2008 after finding the organization at Montana State University in Bozeman, Montana. Becky has served with International Students, Inc. since 2008 after finding the organization at Montana State University in Bozeman, Montana. In May 2014, she joined the East Bay Area (California) team to befriend students at UC Berkeley. In January 2017, Becky moved to Boulder. At first, she jumped in to help teach English with the Grace Commons Church Doorways ESL program and lead the student Bible Study.
After COVID, Becky joined with many staff from other campus organizations to rebuild an outreach to the international students at "CU". Together they have formed a student group called Nations United that hosts monthly dinners and seasonal adventures. Balanced with the large group events, her passion still remains: to meet one on one with women, to be a present friend and to encourage them in the Lord.
