We aim to provide a loving, safe and spirit-filled environment during our Kids programming on Sundays and Tuesdays. This is only possible with great volunteers! We will train you and provide all materials needed for minimal/no outside prep. You don’t need all the answers, just a love for kids, families and Jesus. Sunday Kiosk
Description: Be a welcome and friendly presence at the KIDS kiosk on Sunday mornings. Assist families with Sunday School check-in on the iPads, answer questions and prepare rosters for the leaders.
Time commitment: 40min. No prep. Arrive to serve 20 min before the service begins and continue through the first 15-20 min of the service. You are then done and may attend the remainder of the service, which is typically around the time the sermon begins.
Frequency: Sign-up to serve as your schedule allows. We use sign-up genius for simplicity in choosing your Sundays to serve.
Positions: 1 volunteer (18+) needed each week.
Sunday School Leader (Nursery-5th Grade)
Description: Nurture, teach the love of Jesus and have fun with Grace Commons Kids! The curriculum & materials are prepared by our staff ahead of time and make teaching fun and engaging. Two adults (18+) will lead in each of our newly remodeled classrooms.
Time commitment: 90-120min. Weekly lesson prep is about 30 min for leaders in Kinder-5th grade classrooms. Arrive 15 min before the service to check-in and settle into your classroom. Usually done 15 min after the service is over.
Frequency: Choose from weekly, 2x month or 1x month
Positions: 10-12 adult volunteers (18+) needed each week
Tuesday Night Leader (1st-5th Grade)
Description: A casual and energetic program for our elementary students. Staff prepares craft/service projects, games and curriculum materials ahead of time, so simply show up and lead your group!
Time commitment: 120 min. No prep. 6:15-8:15pm Arrive 15 min before the program to check-in and settle into your classroom. Usually done shortly after 8pm.
Frequency: Choose from weekly, 2x month or 1x month
Positions: 5-7 adult volunteers (18+) needed each week
