Men's Life

Tuesdays | 6am | Oerter Hall
One man awake, awakens another. The second awakens his next door brother.
The three awake can rouse a town by turning the whole place upside down.
The many awake can cause such a fuss, it finally awakens the rest of us.
One man up, with the dawn in his eyes, surely then multiplies
— Lawrence Tribble, from the 1700s 'Great Awakening'
Come be a part of our new season of fellowship and study for Tuesday morning breakfast at 6am followed by our regular routine of small groups and talks.
This year we will take a closer look at Paul's letter to the Colossians, where he encourages us that God has chosen to make known among the nations a glorious mystery, which is Christ in you, the hope of God’s glory (Col 1:27). We will explore what this means — to live Christ’s life in us. To bring and exemplify Christ to our families, our community and to a world that is desperately thirsty for God. We’ll do this in three sections; Christ in Me (Sanctification), Christ in You (One Another), and Christ in Us (The Unity of the Holy Spirit).
"Christ in you" — the hope of God’s glory for our world. It promises to be exciting!
