May 21
Join us for the May Roots on the Road outing! We will gather for an early lunch at BJ's and then go to the Dairy Arts Center for a 1pm showing of O Brother, Where Art Thou? The movie is free, but we need to give them the number of people in our party in advance, so please use this form to reserve a spot.
Lunch at BJ's in Boulder
We will meet at the Grace Commons parking lot at 11:10am and carpool to BJ's.
Free Showing of O Brother, Where Art Thou? at the Dairy Arts Center at 1pm ( only 4 tickets left)
After lunch, we’ll make the short drive over to the Dairy Arts Center for the movie. O Brother, Where Art Thou? is a Coen Brothers comedy-drama, loosely based on Homer's Odyssey and set in 1930s Mississippi. Three escaped chain-gang convicts —Ulysses Everett McGill, Delmar and Pete—embark on a quest for hidden treasure, encountering strange characters, musical success and political corruption while fleeing a relentless lawman.
