ROOTS on the Road: Buc-ee's

Join ROOTS on the Road for day adventures throughout the Boulder/Denver area. This month come experience Buc-ees', a “cultural icon” that recently opened in Colorado.
The grand opening of a gas station and convenience store isn't usually newsworthy, but for those in the know, Buc-ee's is a a sprawling shrine to Texas food, clean bathrooms and the friendliest cartoon beaver. Any search for “Buc-ee’s” on YouTube and you’ll find hundreds of videos of fans eating their way through the store, admiring its size and decking themselves out head to toe in Buc-ee's merch. Join us on May 8 when we can enjoy lunch and browse to our heart’s content!
We will carpool from two locations:
- Church parking lot leaving at 10:30am
- Brewing Market in Longmont (119 and 95th) at 10:45am
